Christ Church delivers Healthy Lives Project

Christ Church Community Services  has been awarded funding from the Advantage Coast CLLD Programme funded by the European and Structural Investment Fund to deliver a Healthy Lives Project over the next three years. A hundred learners a year will benefit from activities designed to improve their confidence and skills and help them back into employment or training.

Learners will have the opportunity to undertake  planning and preparation of healthy foods, food hygiene,basic budgeting , access to I.T support, volunteer opportunities, Information, Advice and Guidance sessions and treat days such as a visit to Sewerby Hall.

The programme allows learners to access one to one support lasting from three months to one year. We have been working towards delivering this project for some time and are excited to work with other local organisations to develop what we expect to be very popular provision.
