Local Action Group updated on Advantage Coast CLLD Progress

 

The Local Action Group for the Advantage Coast CLLD met yesterday (8th November 2018) at Coventry University Campus in Scarborough. The LAG were updated on the exciting progress achieved in the last few months. The LAG were updated on the progress of project applications, current financial commitments and future available funding for the CLLD Programme.

Neil Watson (Executive Group Chair) gave an update from the Executive Group giving an understanding of the role the Executive Group carry out and how they will move to monitor future performance of funded projects after the funds are committed.

Attendees of the meeting were treated to a presentation from 4 funded projects to give an update on what they are delivering and the support the CLLD Programme is giving themselves and the Participants/Businesses they are working with. Presentations were delivered by Mel Bonney-Kane from CaVCA Social Enterprise Ambassador, Sophia White from Christ Church Healthy Lives Project, Wave Crooks from Seagrown and Neil Murray from Activfirst discussing the Activ Business Support Project.
