Community Led Local Development Programme for the Yorkshire Coast
East Riding of Yorkshire Council, along with Scarborough Borough Council, successfully secured £6.9 million from the European Structural Investment Fund to support community development, business growth and enterprise along the Yorkshire Coast.
Advantage Coast CLLD Programme aims to:
- support business and enterprise growth,
- increase employment through supporting creation of new jobs
- to help those furthest from the labour market improve their employment opportunities by helping to improve skills and experience of unemployed people
The Advantage Coast programme will be supported by a team of staff who will work with the Local Action Group to deliver the aims and objectives of the Yorkshire Coast Local Development Strategy (LDS). Download LDS
The Yorkshire Coast Local Development Strategy is the guiding document that shapes the way that the programme will be delivered.
